Robbie, Leah, Lola and Wally came over for dinner during their Santa Monica vacation week. We were all really glad to see them! Chris made a round of margaritas for the adults which we drank in the front unit while the kids ran wild in the back unit for a little bit before dinner.

I made a batch of Roberta’s Pizza Dough and a batch of classic sauce. Preheated the oven on high for 30 minutes until it was a little over 700ºF, then turned it down to low for the cooking. The kids ate most of a cheese pizza and some carrot and celery sticks. Wally and Flint liked the hot honey, but Lola did not.

The grownups had a couple of veggie pizzas with olives, onions, mushrooms, marinated artichokes, basil, and homemade chili crisp. I also made a Caesar-ish salad with romaine lettuce and lemon-cheese dressing (olive oil, lemon, garlic, Dijon mustard, Pecorino).

After they ate, the kids had fun making a chalk obstacle course in the driveway!
